All of our prints are hand drawn, hand painted and collaged here in our Sydney studio by intuitive abstract artist, Marianne Le Cheaf.

Did you know

While making artworks that inevitably need to form patterns, we do not use ANY pattern making software, instead Marianne laboriously ensures her artwork forms an infinite pattern when multiplied so that no detail, texture and shadow is lost when printed onto our textiles.

Did you know

All our textiles are ethically sourced and constructed using only high-quality sustainable resources.

Did you know

Art has been found to stimulate cognitive brain function, shown to effectively promote the development of children from an early age.

Did you know

A child as young as 3 months old has the ability to recognise patterns in colour, shape and texture.

Did you know

Children are more likely to perform well academically when given creative/artistic outlets and stimuli.

Did you know

90% of our garments are constructed to be unisex. This ensures a longer lifespan for each garment, inevitably passed down to siblings.

Did you know

We have designed every garment from the ground up. No garment shape or structure is an off-the-shelf design. Instead we knew it was integral that our garments reflect the art they adorn and more importantly support the children that wear them, ensuring they feel secure, comfortable and brave in all their daily endeavours.

The name Maurice comes from Marianne’s first born, when she, at 15 months old, without warning, carrying her stuffed bear in hand, announced that he would be named Maurice. We are yet to find out how she’d come up with it. It’s been 4 years.

Did you know

Marianne often finds inspiration in her daughters preschool art. She’s said it helps to break down artist block, to start mark making, which as many artists/creatives know helps an idea come to life, when you’re stuck on where to begin.
